Your Instructor

 

My name is Paul Winckle.  

​

I became a fully qualified driver in 1987.  Since then, I have gained my full and advanced motorcycle licences, becoming a police-trained motorcycle instructor for many years; this was achieved alongside a career as a mechanical and electrical engineer within the water industry.

 

In 2018, I began training to become an Approved Driving Instructor, qualifying in April 2023.

I derive great satisfaction in assisting pupils to realise their goals of becoming fully qualified and safe drivers.  As a result of the expert training I have received and being newly qualified, I have up-to-date knowledge of the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) driving requirements.  My use of a client-centred approach, together with a calm and friendly manner, assists students sitting their driving tests to achieve good 'pass' results.

Services offered include free theory test preparation, pay-per-lesson, block bookings discount, motorway driving, night-time driving, supporting nervous and anxious students and pre-test lessons.
